Charging Bull in NYC
The statue of the charging bull, also known as the Bull of Wall Street, is an iconic symbol of New York City. Situated in the heart of the Financial District in Manhattan, New York, this bronze sculpture has become the symbol of Wall Street and extremely popular tourist attraction. The artist, with help from his close friends, decided to install it, even if it was an illegal action. Trying to avoid confrontation with the authorities, they did it before sunrise, in the cover of the night. Di Modica had chosen to place his art piece in front of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) building.
